Liberty Hanks was born out of a desire to craft quality, small batch EDC hanks and to share them with the world, while infusing our love for American history and traditional values into our brand.

The way I see it, we live in a time of rapid social change, where the pressures to adapt and conform to new standards and identities are everywhere we turn. Here at Liberty Hanks we believe that certain traditions and character traits are worth holding on to.

We believe, for example, that men were designed uniquely from women. We believe that men are called to be leaders of their household and community...strong and courageous sheepdogs among wolves, yet loving and disciplined followers of a greater authority.

We believe that men should be prepared mentally and physically for any challenge that comes their way. We believe that men should dress and behave as gentlemen, and that a gentleman is incomplete without two things: a pocket knife and a handkerchief.

Here at Liberty Hanks we're not just passionate about handkerchiefs and EDC gear. We enjoy our studies of American history as well. We value patriotism, American heritage, and those famous words "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
